LABELLING SERVICE
The Food Technical-Scientific Assistance utilizes its experience and knowledge to draw up food labels and/or the following verification of the information already present in the labels in accordance with the regulation in force.
In particular, in the evaluation of the labels, it is taken into consideration the duty to report some specific information and the modalities related to size and location in the packaging, legality or illegality of claims and picture regarding misleading advertising, the duty to declare the presence of allergens and the conformity (with reference to quantities and specifications) of the use of additives, sweeteners and colorants.
This division is able to offer a complete assistance in the drawing up of nutritional labels in accordance with the different models established by the Italian regulation (including the tables relative to products enriched with vitamins and minerals), and assistance in the drafting of nutritional labels according to Canadian and United States legislations.
