•in conformity with the international regulations The optimization of methods based on traditional liquid chromatography techniques (HPLC) can be performed thanks to the development and validation of alternative methods UPLC/MS/MS (Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography), which permits the reduction of time of answer until 3-4 times respect to the traditional HPLC and improves the significance and sensibility. Thanks to UPLC-ESI-TOF systems and a computer-based liquid chromatography equipped with UV and MS (HPLC-Prep-UV-MS), we are able to perform ad-hoc studies for the characterization and identification of unknown molecules (for example: impurities).
